Today, we have the responsibility and opportunity to design spaces that break down the barriers between nature and the built environment, respecting high-tech innovation by making wise use of it to our advantage. In contrast to a nature-dominant approach, it is necessary to reestablish, through design, the possibilities for a proactive relationship between humans and the environment.
Designing in harmony with the environment means not only achieving a balance between nature and artifice, but creating spaces, architectures, in osmosis with the territory, capable of triggering with it an exchange of relationships and benefits.
A process by which architectural intervention contributes to the quality of the environment in which it fits, and the natural environment becomes a strength of the artificial one.
